By now it has been established that India’s all-rounder Krunal Pandya is one of the most prolific cricketers in the T20I side. After he won the Man Of The Series in India’s 3-0 clean sweep against the West Indies, he’s all set to take on a touring South Africa team who will play a three-match T20I series starting from September 15. Krunal alongside younger brother Hardik Pandya have hit the nets ahead of the series and are “getting into the groove”.
The older Pandya took to Twitter to post a 56-second-long video, which showcased a few candid shots from their net session ahead of the first T20I, which will be played in Dharamsala on Sunday.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya, who was rested for the West Indies tour as a part of BCCI’s workload management programme, will be back to play the home series. Earlier, the 25-year-old all-rounder had also uploaded a video clip of his net session, where he was seen playing MS Dhoni’s trademark helicopter shot.
According to reports, MS Dhoni’s availability for the upcoming South Africa T20Is is still uncertain. Meanwhile, with Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar being rested, lesser experienced fast bowlers Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar and Khaleel Ahmed have been given the chance to lead the pace attack for Team India.
